2.5 billion people still live on USD 2 or less a day and thus struggle to meet their basic needs and lack regular access to healthcare services and medicines. The scale of this problem and its complexity call for the engagement of all relevant actors of society: governments, international organizations and the private sector.
As a private sector foundation, we aim to inspire and help shape development policy and cooperation in order to achieve a sustainable improvement in the quality of life of poor people in developing countries, a reduction in poverty and social inequities.
