ENF started in 1997 as a private initiative to facilitate a world-wide [inter]network organization for environmental experts. Today, experts from developing and developed countries alike, have joined ENF and soon decision makers will follow their lead, participating in a worldwide network for sustainable development [+ health + food + agriculture] expertise.
Our main objective is to improve the exchange of information between experts and with decision makers. In 2007 we expect to become to best used knowledge network for sustainable development.
To achieve this we will:
· realize a world wide network of experts / decision makers, organizations and focal points
· realize a fund that will provide the financial means to develop the network
· maintain and exploit an internet technology that facilitates the finding of people, organizations and their knowledge
· give advice to help improve and build networks and to link networks.
