Mission
Philanthropy Ireland's main aims are twofold:
- To foster the development of philanthropy in Ireland
- To support the role and practice of charitable trusts and foundations
Activities
Philanthropy Ireland's work includes the following:
- Affinity groups of members with an interest in funding in a particular area
- Training courses
- Plenary meetings twice a year
- A quarterly newsletter (read the latest edition)
- Annual sector seminars on funding areas
- Advice to prospective philanthropists
