The Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights (DemNet Hungary), a Hungarian private foundation, works for the creation and strengthening of democratic civil sphere in Hungary and in Central and Eastern Europe, in addition to other developing or disadvantageous regions of the world.

The Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights (DemNet), a Hungarian non-profit organization, works for the creation of the democratic civil sphere in Hungary, Eastern and Central Europe, in addition to other developing or disadvantageous regions of the world. DemNet's goal is to implement innovative programs enhancing the sustainability of the non-profit sector and commits itself to the stabilization of democratic transition procedures, to the creation and the strengthening of democratic institutional and value system.
DemNet distributes - either from own or other resources - funds, grants and donations. In order to achieve the previously mentioned goals DemNet focuses on knowledge and information transfer.
The key principles, values of DemNet's operation are cooperation (inter-sectoral high lighted), professionalism, transparency, locality and sustainability.
