The Tony and Lisette Lewis Foundation, established by the late Mr Tony Lewis and his wife Lisette, is a non-profit charitable organisation devoted to the well-being of wildlife in Australia and the conservation of its habitat.
Aim
- The acquisition and administration of wildlife sanctuaries
- Research into wildlife (especially endangered species) and its crucial habitat, and dissemination of information
- The conduct of educational programs to increase community awareness of, and responsibility for, wildlife in Australia and the conservation of its environment
- The support of rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, and to its protection from cruelty and abuse
- Through its WildlifeLink Grants, the sponsorship of projects by organisations committed to philosophies similar to those of the Foundation |
