Australian Ecosystems Foundation Incorporated is:
- A not-for-profit incorporated association of pro-active, concerned Australians wanting to make a difference and to save endangered species;
- Registered with the Australian Taxation Office to accept tax deductible donations;
- Supported by dedicated scientists, academics and specialists;
- Committed to building feral-proof exclosure sanctuaries and re-introducing and protecting native species in their original habitat;
- Committed to achieving excellence in ecosystem conservation, ecotourism and environmental education;
- Successfully operating an endangered species breeding facility for Eastern Quolls in Lithgow--opened in March 2003.
- Already working with other similar organisations--Yarrandoo (already have a feral-proof enclosure for Ruffous Bettong--working in conjunction with the University of New England);
- Currently managing 2000 acres in the Wolgan Valley (near Lithgow NSW) as a conservation area--Wollemi Nature Reserve;
- Successfully obtained grant funding for major works at Wollemi Nature Reserve.
- Consulting for a property in the Coolah area to manage as a sanctuary.
- Saving Australia's endangered ecosystems and the wildlife within. |
