| About Winkler Community Foundation： |
The Winkler Community Foundation is a charitable organization that builds endowment funds to provide ongoing support for other local non-profit and charitable organizations in Winkler and surrounding area. The income earned by these funds is used to give grants to a wide range of community groups, while the original investment is left to grow generating more funds to grant in the future.
From 1996-2005, WCF has granted just over $140,340.00 back to the commuunity of Winkler supporting capital purchases, new programs and scholarships of 37 different local non-profit and charitable organizations.
