Job Description:
Research and research studies in the field of coatings using ionized sputtering (HiPIMS). This thin film project is experimental in nature with emphasis on the microstructure and property relations to process conditions. Possibly can also theoretical simulations of thin film growth be part of the project. The deposition process is of large commercial interest. Therefore participation in industrial projects may be possible.
Requirements:
A master degree or a corresponding degree in physics or material science. Experience from electron microscopy (especially TEM) is considered as an advantage.
