Four PhD positions are available at the Unit of Molecular Design and Synthesis of the K.U.Leuven (Belgium) for a motivated scientist with an interest in ionic liquids.
We offer a challenging research environment and an intense experience leading to a PhD degree.
The titles of the projects are Development of new cationic cores for ionic liquids, Preparation of gauze-supported skeletal Raney catalysts in ionic liquids, Valorisation of cellulose by hydrogenolysis, and Thermophysical characterization of ionic liquids.
These positions are targeted at candidates from non-EEA countries (European Economic Area = European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway)
